About Me

Hello! My name is Helen Valencia. I am an UX designer with an occupational therapist background. Growing up I loved sketching and learning UX design as an adult felt natural and fun. I completed all seven parts of the Google UX Design course work (course details below) between May-  December of 2023.

My favorite part of the design process is the empathize process. I imagine myself walking in the shoes of users and leaning into the possible barriers they may encounter when engaging with design.

At the heart of everything I do is compassion and collaboration for others, be it a client or team.
